And so it begins!

On September 6th, I officially opened Soaps by Alexandra on Etsy.  This has been several years in the making and I couldn't be more thrilled to finally open shop.  I'm really excited to share my products with everyone!

Right now, I am focusing on bar soap, sugar scrub cubes, and bath bombs.  Let me share with you some more information about each product.

Lemongrass Soap made with Mango Butter & Silk

Our soap is made using the Cold Process method, which is combining vegetable oils and butters with lye.  The chemical reaction which is created helps the fatty acid molecules bind together, making a hard bar of soap.  After a 4-week cure time, each bar of soap is ready to use.  I use the finest ingredients, which include mango butter, olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, and castor oil.  I have also added Tussah silk to this soap, which gives it a luxurious, satiny feel.

Grace Exfoliating Sugar Scrub Cubes made with Sweet Almond Oil & Shea Butter

The sugar scrub cubes are a twist on the regular sugar scrub we're all used to seeing in the jars.  By combining a shea butter soap base with the sweet almond oil and sugar, I've created a solid form of a scrub.  This scrub accomplishes 3 things: the soap cleanses while the sugar gently exfoliates and the sweet almond oil conditions your skin.  Plus, these cubes are less messy and don't leave a slippery film on the bottom of your bathtub!

NRG (Energy) Bath Bomb made with Sweet Almond Oil

The bath bombs are not only a really fun product, but also nourishing to the skin!  When dropped in a warm bath, they'll fizz and release sweet almond oil, which moisturizes your skin.

Thank you for reading and please let me know if you have any questions about my products.  And, as always, thank you for your support!
